Ariel Penn is a two-time L.A. Emmy nominee, film location property lover and licensed real estate agent (CAID#: 02132076), writer, filmmaker, WordPress gal, and hopefully a worthy dinner guest.
When I was a child, I had a recurring dream. I found myself locked in a prison cell, confined for some unknown reason for life. In this dream, I was happy because the warden promised me an endless supply of yellow legal pads and pens.
Once or twice a year, a prison guard pushed a dolly into my cell laden with boxes. And when I opened those boxes, I was delighted to find them filled to the brim with my treasured pens and paper. If I could write or create, walls wouldn’t matter. A window would exist where my life could breathe, even if it was for myself alone.
After retiring in 2014, from a corporate 9 to 5 job, I decided to leave the walls behind and do my own creative work as well as continue with my love of promoting locations for filming. I’ve been running my film location property site www.filmlocationowners.com and working on a memoir (“The Mrs. Club”) as well as a graphic novel set in the world of Arthurian legend.
